BRE awards Allen & Overy LLP a SABRE Certification of 'Excellent'
Allen & Overy LLP Receives SABRE Excellent Award
The headquarters of Allen & Overy LLP - the international law firm - has achieved In-Use certification to SABRE, BRE’s new security certification scheme for buildings, infrastructure and managed space.
One Bishops Square is situated in the heart of the modern Spitalfields market area on the fringe of the City of London. Designed by Norman Foster and constructed in 2004, it features a range of client meeting rooms, client dining suite, three atriums, three roof terraces, a stylish restaurant and bar, calming lavender gardens and top-class gym, fitness and health facilities.
Assessment of One Bishops Square led to a SABRE Rating of ‘Excellent’ and a SABRE Score of 89.98%.
Gavin Jones, Director of SABRE at BRE said:
“This is the highest SABRE assessment score we have seen to date. Allen & Overy LLP has demonstrated that the firm is committed to managing security risks and has established governance processes that deliver effective oversight. We are delighted to reward their dedication with SABRE certification.”
SABRE is a security risk management standard that can be applied to new construction projects and in-use facilities. It is used by property developers, building owners and occupiers to measure and evaluate how well they manage security risks and to communicate their security credentials to the market. The independently operated scheme recognises and rewards a risk-based approach to security, good design, construction and management.
