Review of Part B Building Regulations: Insights
The Department for Communities and Local Government (now the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities) published their consultation paper in July 2005 and the consultation ended on 18 November in the same year. Around 240 formal responses and 40 informal responses were received.

The changes were due to come into effect on 6 April 2007.
